A father makes his way to the roof of Africa in memory of his son, a peacemaker.
Spreading ashes like seeds of peace.
This was more then climbing a mountain with a camera in hand, this was documenting a journey. A pilgrimage of remembrance of the work and stories of a peacemaker and prankster MJ Sharp.
12 hikers on a journey to remember and discover the impact an active peacemaker has in this world. The ripples of his life and death revealed themselves through out this 8 days of walking and talking.
The thing about hiking is that there's really nothing else to do other then walking and talking and breathing. It's meditative. It creates space.
I never met him, yet MJ has had a huge impact on my own life. He is an active peacemaker and Anabaptist and not afraid to go where no one else wants to go, a risk taker.
